Our back-end systems are always available and guarantee that our customer’s orders are never lost and always processed even when downstream services are down.

Key job responsibilities - Own the roadmap of the services that enable faster delivery of payment experience to our customers - Document and present strategies to senior management.
- Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.
- Management of departmental resources, hiring, mentoring, enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class product development team.
- Work closely with the engineers and product managers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
- Report on status of development, quality, operations and system performance to leadership.

About the team Brazil Payments Tech team launches payment experiences for retail and digital businesses in Brazil marketplace.
Our mission is to increase eCommerce Payment Coverage by supporting launch of new payment methods and support regulatory and compliance projects relating to payments for Brazil.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations.
Sao Paulo, SP, BRA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of engineering team management experience - Bachelor's degree PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
