About the Role.
As the Procurement Operations Buyer Specialist - Refinery, you will be responsible for MRO and Services contracts implementation, management and strategic spend analyses for business, keeping the operational strategy aligned with supply chain strategy and also work closely with the location operating, maintenance and finance leaders to ensure congruence between the operating objectives and the procurement plan.
Other key responsibilities include.
Support Delivery of Commercial Plan and Run Kaizen Events Interaction with Key Alumar Operational Stakeholders and Leaders.
Partnering with the business to establish a plan to improve production and operation stability.
Work close with other procurement teams and Alumar Stores team to reduce spare parts lead times.
Implementation and management; operational continuity through supply chain deliverables; process optimization to improve and increase efficiencies are keys focus areas.
Usage of high-performance negotiation tools (e.
.
electronic auction, GAIN, etc) to deliver commercial results.
TCO Cost savings, working capital improvement are also expected deliverables in partnership with other Procurement pillars / teams.
Develop strategies to reduce costs of the business units (Smelter, Refinery and Port).
What you can bring to the role.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration and related areas; Fluent English; Solid experience in Procurement; Availability to live in São Luis, Maranhão.
