Responsibilities The professional Service Engineer will be responsible for customization and deployment of CygNet SCADA software solutions to Oil and Gas customers.
Job Responsibilities.
Install, Upgrade, and deploy SCADA and Production Optimization Systems.
Build HMI Screens, Workflows, Reports to support customer operations and SCADA system.
Must be flexible to work on Mon-Fri or Sun-Thur based on the business needs.
Willing to travel extensively at foreign customer locations based on the business needs.
Create and understand project plans based on the scope of work and accomplish milestones in timely manner as per the plan.
Create and understand System Architecture based on the customer requirements.
Develop skills to present and demo new or existing features of SCADA to customers.
Develop and provide custom solutions, utilities and system integration using scripts along with the procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Identify cause of problem reported by debugging/ troubleshooting Program/Scripts and if necessary, correct them or report them to the developers.
Gain a firm understanding of Company\us Production Optimization Products and how it works from the users Perspective.
Troubleshoot issues related to SCADA communications with any third-party devices or software.
Train users in system usage and administration Ready to work at Onshore (oil field on land) as well as Offshore (oil field in sea) customer sites.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Help field support/clients with upgrading and configuring the software.
Provide customs solutions through scripts.
Guide a junior member of the deployment team in solving complex issues that may arise.
Qualifications Engineering Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation/ Computers/ IT with 6-10 years of experience.
Experience in deploying and configuring Enterprise software in Microsoft Environment.
Experience in deploying and configuring SCADA systems.
Experience in Industrial Protocols such as MODBUS, OPC, MQTT etc.
Experience in RTUs, PLCs, communication configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience in creating SCADA HMI screens using SVGs, APIs, Objects and Scripts.
Scripting and debugging knowledge in either VB, C#.
Net, Python, ODBC/ SQL, PowerShell.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in interacting with customer or other stake holders and understanding their requirements.
Preferred.
Experience in Oil and Gas Industry \u Upstream.
Experience in Microsoft Server OS knowledge.
Experience in SQL Server Management.
Experience in ETL Techniques and tools.
Experience in integrating third party applications.
Experience in creating SVG graphics.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web applications.
Knowledge in Cyber Security OT Network, Switches, Firewalls etc.
Knowledge in Visio, AutoCAD or similar tools to create, modify, understand system/ network architecture.
Knowledge of instrumentation, P&ID diagrams.
Knowledge in creating project plans using Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of Web Security, Authentication and Authorization.
Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing software and hardware issues.
