SENIOR DATA ARCHITECT

What you will do: Design, develop, and manage the overall data architecture, including data models, storage solutions, and data flow. Define and implement best practices and standards for data management, governance, and data quality. Architect scalable and secure data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Big Query, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to design data models and schemas that support business requirements. Ensure data integration processes are optimized for performance, reliability, and security. Develop and maintain enterprise data models and metadata management solutions. Lead efforts to design and implement data governance frameworks, including data lineage and cataloging. Provide technical guidance and leadership on data architecture and data management strategies. Design and implement data security and compliance measures, including data encryption and access control. Optimize and manage data storage and processing environments for performance and cost-efficiency. Oversee the design and implementation of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines. Evaluate and select appropriate data technologies and tools to meet evolving business needs. Document data architecture designs, processes, and standards to ensure clarity and consistency across the organization. Continuously assess and improve the scalability, flexibility, and security of data architecture. What we are looking for: Advanced or fluent English for professional communication. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience in data architecture, data management, or related roles, with a strong f ocus on cloud-based solutions . Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services, including Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. Strong experience in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java. Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices. Experience with data integration tools and ETL/ELT processes . Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance data architectures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloging tools. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) practices. Experience migrating legacy platforms (e. g. , Mule Soft) to modern API management solutions such as Apigee.
