What you'll do SAP's Business Data Cloud is a strategic cloud solution that simplifies data access and governance for customers.
Within it, the Modeling department focuses on creating new transformation and enrichment pipelines using graphical low code / no code editors.
The Repository team supports these editors by providing a backend microservice for model persistence and lifecycle management.
As a senior developer, your role will involve enhancing this microservice in collaboration with Repository team members across Europe and China.
You will be responsible for translating requirements into technical solutions and implementing and maintaining them alongside other developers, quality and security experts.
You will coordinate the efforts of this project team until the results are demoed to the wider Business Data Cloud engineering group.
In addition to continuous functional enhancements, you will contribute to the overall quality of the service by resolving issues reported by customers and internal stakeholders.
You will also be required to analyze production environment defects and propose mitigations   What you bring You have substantial experience in backend server development, preferably in a cloud environment with NodeJS.
This experience encompasses REST APIs and database management You are curious and a quick learner, eager to explore new technologies and stay current with industry trends You are a strong team player with excellent collaboration skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a team environmen Excellent communication skills in English.
Must be comfortable collaborating internationally.
