Job DescriptionIn the role, you will work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team developing enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (a LIMS) and supporting the LIMS' multiple customers.Where will you be based and what business will you support?BrazilHow can you help us? As a Tech Lead Delphi Developer, you will:Lead Development teams in a local line management capacity reporting to the Software Engineering Manager in EuropeSet targets and mentor the team/s locallyEnsure quality in team developmentParticipate in sprint planning and sprint retrospective meetingsAssign and deliver development tasks requested during sprint planningEstimate the complexity and the workloadChoose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirementsDesign, develop and deploy changes to the LIMS according to the customers’ and business users’ requirements.Support the LIMS in collaboration with the other team membersWorking together with other team members (Engineers/QA) to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.Ensuring good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followedExperienceAre you our kind of extraordinary?Experience as a Tech Lead in a local line management capacity4+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferable)Experience with using Delphi to develop Windows Services and/or UI Forms would be a clear bonus7+ for senior roles years of experience with Oracle PL/SQLStrong working knowledge on server-side development with Delphi and/or with Oracle PL/SQLStrong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skillsGood understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11c or later)Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or KanbanClear experience in collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architect(s)Some Experience in test driven development and test automationComfortable in unit testing and mocking with DelphiAbility to translate functional requirements into technical solutionsRequisitos:QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer Science or similar; What else should I know?As the role and Eurofins' IT Talent Acquisition team are international, please ensure to submit your application in English.Additional InformationWorking hours:Monday to Friday - 8:00 to 17:00 Hybrid Work
