 Brazil Summary – HSBC Senior IT executive focused on the financial market, with 36 years of experience in Brazil, England, Mexico (LATAM - 11 countries) and Argentina.
I started my work in IT in 1977 at Banco Bamerindus do Brasil, where I held 7 different positions, the latter as a consultant support analyst on the mainframe platform. After this period between 77 and 90 I moved to the managerial / leadership career where I worked as a manager of banking automation / systems (applications) deployment, Data Center manager, senior manager of Technical Support on multiple platforms, manager of systems development and maintenance , senior manager of the processing and technical support department and telecommunications network manager (multi countries). In the following years, I participated in leadership development programs via the "shadow" program, where you are paired with a directors one level above yours, replacing them  on vacation or other periods. 
In 1997 with the acquisition of Bamerindus by HSBC I became Group Operations Brasil, and I worked in Argentina, England and Mexico for 7 years in different positions and different technical and managerial functions.

 HSBC – CIO Brazil Feb 2011 - Sep 2013 - Brazil 
- Responsible of managing a team of 1650 people + 1400 Outsourced - Definition and implementation of systems strategy in line with the group's strategy in Brazil - Management of the entire area of IT operationsand System Development teams. - Manage all the projects,implementation and maintenance of  all financial business systems applications on multi platforms - Definition of KPIS and  Balance score card for people management, efficiency ,regulatory and quality .
Participant in the HSBC group's strategic business plan creation and implementation committee ;



HSBC -  IT Operations and Telecom Director - LATAM Jan 2009 - Jan 2011 – Mexico
 - Responsible for managing  all the IT Operations in 11 countries (Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile, Honduras, Argentina and Brazil) - Data centers  management, and telecommunication networks; First, second and third level technical support - ATMs network management - Outsourcing and multiplatform management ; Project mangement of all IT resoures projects in the region - Responsible for a team of 1150 people + 650 Outsourced ;



HSBC -  Europe Distributed Systems Director Feb 2006 - Dec 2008 – England
 - Director of Distributed Systems in Europe (including branches, ATMs and the Internet environment); - in 2007, in addition to the distributed systems area, I also took over the HSBC Telecommunications Network in Europe and Middle East; - Responsible for the implementation of the Internet and Mobile Banking system Europe  project ; - Management of several teams, totaling 810 people   (multi countries teams Europe and  MIdle East);

HSBC – Director of IT Operations and OPSCO – Brazil   March 1997 – Dec 2008
Responsible for manage all the HSBC Brazil Infrastructure and IT environment (including Technical Support referenced above, Data Centers, branch network and ATMs) and member of the integration and transition group in the purchase of Bamerindus; - Director of IT Operations at HSBC Brazil and Argentina and part of the Due Dilligence group / acquisition of Roberts bank by HSBC; 
- Director of IT Operations and the entire area of Processes and Methods at HSBC Brazil; - member of the Due Diligence team / acquisition and integration committee during the acquisition of Republic Bank, CCF Bank and Losango; 
- Director of HSBC Brazil’s Banking Correspondent Network defining network and product strategy, team creation, implementation of partnerships with retail chains, KPIs and Balance Score Card elaboration; - Participant in the HSBC group's strategic planning creation and implementation committee x local requirements in Brazil; - Responsible for the Payment System project management, team, implementation and system at HSBC Brazil; - Representative at FEBRABAN ( Brazilian Bank Association ); - Director of HSBC Brazil processes and methods area; - Management of several teams, totaling 1050 people ;
