●	Coordination of global sustainability task force (UK, US and Brazil) in the implementation of indicators reporting for the biofuels division;
●	Reevaluated the map and environmental risk, anticipating challenges and proposing actions for opening channels with policymakers and opinion leaders. Designed and executed a strategy of engagement and communication with trade associations, NGOs, peers, local government and other stakeholders, resulting in reputational gains to the market and good response to the arrival of BP Biofuels in the sustainability arena.
•	Influenced the joint venture Shareholders on the adoption of good social practices. Coordinated and supported the implementation of the management system for topics related to sustainability (SA8000, Bonsucro, internal systems);
•	Researched, designed and planned the implementation of sustainability indicators. Conducted national and global internal workshops to engage stakeholders and hosted meetings with key managers about new insights and useful analysis for decision-making. 
•	Coordinated the implementation of qualitative research on the communities surrounding the units, in order to update the risk map and deploy synergistic social projects which were aligned with local demands and the company interests. The result was the good-will from some government agents sensitized with the care of the company with its surroundings. Furthermore, the restructuring of the social program allowed greater synergy, focus and resource savings.
•	Participation in the design, planning and development of multidisciplinary projects during the acquisition of operating units. The external and internal communication strategy on the negotiation, the team integration of plants, implementation of the Code of Ethics, the management of the cultural change. The projects were implemented in a short time, which has achieved the award from the Headquarters in internal projects contest and also provide reputational gains for the Brazilian branch.
•	Organized the Sustainability area by building active teams in the three operational units, which have achieved three environmental certifications and three awards for the implemented actions and projects (including an international one) in addition to the reputational and motivational gains.
•	Coordinated the social-environmental due diligence activities, focusing on the most important issues for the sector, such as slave labor, deforestation and land contamination. This work allowed the measurement of existing risks, the definition of the required correction values and the identification of the financial impact on the ongoing negotiation.
•	Managed social-environmental planning initiatives during the project for doubling the plant capacity in Goiás state After evaluating the potential impacts, it was deployed the accommodation model for one-thousand people, established partnerships with public and private actors for qualification of manpower, established actions for communication of the impacts for the affected people. This was decisive for good reception of the project in the city.

•	Translated, adapted and introduced the new model of GRI reporting to internal stakeholders. Coordinated the data collection for the first company’s report and the and also the second country-wide using this model. As a result, CPFL earned good-will and acceptance from the opinion makers in the industry.
•	Designed and implemented new methodologies for internal culture diagnosis, such as the Self-Evaluation Survey by applying the Ethos Institute tools. The methodology enabled the deployment plan necessary for closing the identified gaps: communication initiatives, process review or remediation. The quality of the results and the broadness of the survey among the employees earned a case exposure during the Ethos Conference 2003.
•	Formatted internal seminars to disseminate the culture of ethics – chaired the Ethics Committee and participated in the team that restructured the company’s ethics intranet portal.
•	Led the implementation of a social investment program – “Agentes Mirins no Combate ao Desperdício de Energia”, which promoted environmental education for the rational use of energy.
•	Coordinated the implementation of SA8000 certification within four months, a record time. This certification was essential when the company went public on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and it also earned good-will from the union workers, due to the good dealings with labor relations, subject of the certification
