Takes part in the area of Senior Management / General GBS Finance Latin America.
Providing technical leadership to the team; Managing cost analysis, accounting demands, accounting closings and reports; Ensuring the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, expense reports, treasury, in addition to payments in general; Administering the calculation of direct and indirect taxes, in addition to tax incentives; Managing the asset lifecycle; Ensuring cost reduction and improvement in project management processes, as well as performing other related activities and inherent to the position.
Exercise technical leadership of the team; Manage the transactional Efficiency of GBS Finance RH LATAM.
- Accounting.
Manage the analysis of costs, accounting demands, accounting closings and reporting.
Assist and support external audit.
Actively work together with the Business Areas (customers) and global corporate accounting and consolidation.
- Finance.
Assure the management of Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Invoicing, expenses reports, short-term cash management and payments.
- Tax.
Manage direct and indirect tax calculations, tax reporting, and tax incentives requirements management.
- Asset Management.
Manage assets life cycle and reporting, including Excess value control.
- Projects.
Provide cost savings and quality enhancement project management, strategic data mining, management and reporting.
Lead, motivate and develop the department.
Give support and advice to team leaders.
Ensure that the employees get sufficient training and education for executing todays and future tasks.
Arrange for good working conditions for the employees.
Present the department to partners (existing / new), in meetings and seminars, for visitors etc.
Plan and run department meetings and Management Team meetings.
Ensure ongoing improvement processes for internal processes.
Execute benchmark studies, visit to/from other accounting centres / master data organizations, customer meetings / site visits etc.
Be active member of the GBS Finance Management Team Participate in global GBS F Projects.
Qualifications.
Accounting or Business Administration Degree.
Experience & Skills.
International accounting certiicate is desirable; SSC knowledge is required; Experience in dealing with big amount of finance transactions; Negotiation and good communications skills; In deep knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS); International Experience is a plus; Mining and industrial knowledge is desirable; Analytical and systematic approach; Show ability to always look for improvements and opportunities in the work processes, building necessary competence and experience within the departament to be leading in technological solutions enabling low transactions costs and high quality performance; Advanced knowledge of SAP/Hyperion is desirable; Fluent English.
